Tax Manager

We’ve raised from world-class investors like OpenAI to reimagine the way millions of business owners work. Started by the Co-Founder of Teachable ($250m exit in March 2020) we’re an experienced team with overwhelming market demand looking to create the data layer for finance.

You Will:
- Partner closely across the company to represent an experienced tax and accounting perspective.
- Work with our Tax and Customer Experience teams to develop solutions for our enterprise and high-profile users and partners which include Creators with millions of online subscribers (30% of time).
- Work with our AI team to maintain and improve our industry leading Categorization and Messaging algorithms (30% of time).
- Work with our Engineering team to develop world-class software to help our users save money and get peace of mind (30% of time).
- Keep up-to-date on the latest tax and regulatory policy changes.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is proactive, can take full ownership of a project and see it through completion in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
- Has impeccable written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex accounting and tax concepts to audiences who may not possess a technical tax background and concisely make analysis and recommendations.
- Can implement strategic and conceptual thinking, with the ability to explain and use data and research to guide and justify their decisions.
- Interested in collaborating with a cross-functional team where you can apply tax domain expertise to develop new content or technology products.
- 5+ years experience working with S Corporations, Partnerships, Sole Proprietorships, Real Estate or HNW.
- Advanced technical qualifications or experience (e.g. CPA, EA, LLM).
